A track covered by bushes and by trees is the doorway to Narnia hidden not in a wardrobe but out in the world. The short walk to the valley offers comfort to those who seek pleasure in small physical achievements even with the assisting steps and the wooden hand rail on both sides. But to those who walk this trail with no thought about it are then awarded with a sight that can only be understood by the divine that created it.
The low lying valley stretches seemingly endless miles. In its center is a field of golden grass that shines all day under the warmth of the sun and glimmers all night due to the glow of the moon. Winds blow through the lowland causing the meadow to sway back and forth tickling the cheeks and arms of anyone who finds themselves wander through. On either side are light dirt paths that crisscross each other at random points. Some of these trails are smooth and easy to walk while others are rough and require you to trek but, all emit a crunch whenever shoes touch the ground. Now, the wind that had blown through the grass causes the dirt to fly up into a blinding tornado before quickly returning to its rightful place on the ground.
Many would stop and avoid this cloud as if it were filled with evil. Others would waft it away or turn around and look for another route to travel. Yet, a young boy performs neither of these evasive tactics; instead he runs through it letting the grime cover his body and fill his nostrils. This miniature cloud is like a shower to him, and like baptism washes away original sin, the dust washes away his anxieties and fears, cleansing him of anger and hatred, so that when he comes out the other side all that is left is happiness and peace. Continuing through, the young man turns left and slides down the gentle slope into great basin. Charging through the grass, he reaches the center where he crashes into the soft soil.
Once again the wind maneuvers through the curving valley causing the grass to bend but, this time it gently brushes his arms and caresses his cheeks. Realizing that it never occurs to anyone where the wind comes from, the young man opens his eyes and stares through the ocean of air at the star above. Then he feels the breath of God wash over him and he understands what others have not thought.
